This Privacy Policy operated by OHC describes how we use and protect personal data that we collect about you (referred to as “Customers” / “you” / “your”) and explains your rights.

Information We Collect

OHC receives and stores personal data that you enter on our websites or give us in any other way.  This may include your first and last name, postal address, telephone number, email addresses, date of birth, citizenship and passport details, and, if you make a booking, your credit/debit card details (in order to make payment and confirm the booking) as well as information from a number of different sources (including over the telephone, through email or enquiries made through the website).

When you use our website, you may be asked questions about your holiday preferences and types of holiday activities of interest to you. We maintain this personal data in order to send you e-mail offers and to let you know when holidays are available that match your preferences, unless you unsubscribe to receiving such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

When you visit our website our web servers automatically collect limited information about your computer’s connection to the Internet, including your IP address. Your IP address is a unique number that lets computers attached to the Internet know where to send you data – such as web pages you view. We use this information to deliver our web pages to you upon request, to tailor our website to the interests of our users and to measure traffic within our websites. OHC may disclose personal data to certain third parties, including our travel service providers, suppliers, vendors, business partners, and corporate affiliates in connection with providing services and the uses described above. 

We may also share personal information when we believe it is appropriate to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal or suspected illegal activities; to protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of OHC, the website or users of the website; in connection with our Terms of Use and other agreements; and in connection with a corporate transaction (e.g., sale of a division of the business, merger, etc.).

Security and retention

We exercise a high degree of care, skill and due diligence in providing secure transmission of data from your computer to our web servers.  We use industry standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of personal data, such as firewalls and secure servers, and secure server technology such as the industry standard Secure Socket Layers (“SSL”) encryption to protect sensitive information such as credit card numbers for transaction purposes.  All of your credit card information is kept on a secured server for maximum security. Your credit card and billing information is sent in an encrypted form. Once we receive your credit card information, we store it on a server that is inaccessible from the Internet. All credit card transactions are handled by a third-party financial institution, which receives the credit card number and other personal identifying information only to verify the credit card numbers and process transactions. You are welcome to call in your credit card information and complete your purchase by phone if you feel more comfortable doing so.  

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and as a result, while we strive to protect our Customers’ personal data, we cannot ensure and do not warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our on-line products or services, and you do so at your own risk.

Your personal data will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out above, in accordance with applicable laws.

Information to be sent abroad

In order to complete your booking, OHC will also need to collect personal data about you, and others included in your group, to pass to third parties (such as relevant hotels, excursion operators, etc.) for the purposes of booking your holiday, or for analysis, technical processing or other legitimate purposes. This may involve the transfer of information outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and by providing OHC with this information you acknowledge that is maybe necessary to do so in order to perform our obligations to you which include transferring such information out of the EEA. The countries where such other facilities or third parties are situated may have no data protection legislation, or laws which are less rigorous than the legislation introduced by the Member States of the EU and the EEA.  In such cases, we will ensure that your rights with regards to any such processing and your personal data will still be adequately protected.   If we transfer your personal data to agencies or third parties outside the EEA, we require similar, binding contractual undertakings, and we monitor compliance. Our affiliated or related entities, associates and partners have agreed to adopt equivalent measures.

Your rights

You have the right to ask OHC not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. You also have the right to access personal data about you that we hold and to correct inaccurate personal data.  In accordance with applicable law, you may also have the right to object to or request restriction of the processing of your personal data and to request erasure and to port your personal data.
